Membership Report: Mark Bosworth’s reported the total membership at 86.

Old business:  Dave Gries is still collecting magazines for the Adopt-a-Platoon program.
Discussion about membership use of the EMU facebook page and blog.
The EMU Christmas party was set at Sat, Dec 17th, 2011, to have the party with a buffet meal in the Moto Europa showroom.

 New Business:
Gary asked if we could obtain additional EMU shirts. Some of our newer members did not receive free shirts. Additional shirts can be ordered for purchase by our members. There was discussion to continue to use the wicking style, with pockets if possible. There was some preference to have the new group of shirts made up in Ash Gray. There was also some discussion to order long sleeve shirts as well. We will look into the costs and printing options.

A request was made to put out the meeting reminder emails further in advance of the meeting.

Kris Tucker Lowe submitted an article with photos of his Sherpa T restoration which will be in the newsletter in installments.

The next meeting will be held in the dealer showroom.

Program
Bob Howard provided an interesting program on his 34 HP Aprilia RS125.  This is a European bike, imported to the US as a track bike, and not intended to be street legal in the US.  It took a lot of time and effort to source and install the lights, turnsignals, etc., on the bike and get it street legal in Illinois.  The result is a very classy sportbike, and you aren’t likely to see any other bikes like it on the street.  Good job, Bob, and thanks for the presentation.

Humbly submitted, Leo Weisman, Secretary.
